Maple Spiced Pomegranate Cherry Margarita
Celebrate the holidays with this drink that is both refreshing and warming at the same time. We loved the combo of tart cherry juice and pomegranate juice, but you could substitute cranberry juice if you prefer. The sanding sugar rim adds to the festiveness of this holiday cocktail.

2 teaspoons Ann Clark Red Sanding Sugar

⅓ cup pomegranate Juice

¼ cup tart cherry juice

2 ounces Reposado tequila

½ ounce Grand Mariner

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 tablespoon (½ ounce) fresh squeezed lime juice

⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon

⅛ teaspoon ground ginger

⅛ teaspoon ground cayenne

Slice of lime

Ice

½ cup (4 ounces) ginger beer

Rosemary sprig (for garnish)

Place 2 teaspoons Ann Clark Sanding Sugar onto a small plate. Set aside.

Shake pomegranate juice, cherry juice, tequila, Grand Mariner, maple syrup, lime juice, cinnamon, ginger, and cayenne, until well combined, in a cocktail shaker, about 30 seconds.

Run slice of lime around the top edge of 12-ounce glass.

Dip the rim of the glass into the reserved sanding sugar to fully and evenly coat the rim. Save the fruit for garnish.

Carefully add ice to the top of the glass, about 1 cup.

Pour the contents of the cocktail shaker over ice.

Top with ginger beer and garnish with rosemary sprig and slice of reserved lime.
Notes & Tips:
- To make ahead: You can batch this cocktail into a punch bowl or make ahead for a holiday party. Simply provide sugar rimmed glasses with ice for serving.
- You can substitute cranberry juice for the cherry and pomegranate juice.
- You can substitute fresh orange juice for the lime juice.
