Fruit Smoothie

This is your one and only smoothie formula you need! This is a base recipe that you can customize how you would like based on what you have or what flavors you prefer. The inclusion of 1/4 cup egg white powder adds 16 grams of protein to this fruit smoothie.

1 ½ cups fresh or frozen fruit, such as berries, mangos and bananas

¾ cup packed fresh greens, such as spinach or kale (optional)

¾ cup water or milk such as almond, cow or coconut

½ cup plain Greek yogurt

1/8-¼ cup Ann Clark Egg White Powder

1 tablespoon maple syrup, honey or agave

¼ teaspoon extract, such as vanilla, orange and almond extract

1/8 teaspoon spices such as turmeric, cinnamon and cayenne

Blender or food processor

Add fruit, greens (optional), water (milk), yogurt, Ann Clark Egg White Powder, syrup, spices, and extract to the blender. Cover with lid.

Blend on low speed, once ingredients are combined, then gradually increase speed to high and blend, until completely smooth, about 1 minute.
Notes & Tips:
- For best results add the liquid first to the blender, then leafy greens, then fresh fruit, then frozen fruit
- Use a combination of fresh and frozen fruit to get a frosty and cold smoothie
- Serve immediately
- Add fresh greens for extra nutrients
- More egg white powder will make the smoothie higher in protein and creamier
